At MEM Health Promotion Services, our purpose is to make compassionate, high-quality healthcare accessible to adults and seniors, also facility and care coordination support in managing chronic conditions, empowering them to live healthier, more independent lives through personalized, relationship-centered care.
MEM Health Promotion Services provides Telehealth Care Management to Texas and Florida's residents who are uninsured, underinsured, is Medicare B-eligible, Medicaid, BCBS, Optum/UHC/AAR, private pay adults, facility and care coordination support for individuals ages 20 years and older — all from the comfort of their home.

Meet Dr. Marva Edwards-Marshall, DNP, ANP-BC
Founder & Nurse Practitioner
With over 20 years of healthcare experience, Dr. Edwards-Marshall is dedicated to delivering personalized, respectful, and evidence-based care.
As a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner, she brings clinical expertise, compassionate listening, and a commitment to underserved communities. Dr. Marva Edwards-Marshall established MEM Health Promotion Services to bring compassionate, expert-led care directly to those who need it most. Dr. Edwards-Marshall has dedicated her career to improving access to high-quality care—especially for underserved, uninsured, and underinsured communities.

After earning her MSN in 2004, she began her journey in nursing education, teaching both ASN and RN-to-BSN students. Seeing firsthand the gaps in care for uninsured adults, she transitioned into primary care in 2007, focusing on populations often left behind. Her passion for vulnerable and aging populations led her to specialize in geriatric medicine in 2008.
In 2010, Dr. Edwards-Marshall APN earned her DNP and spent the next 15 years in institutional health plan practice, gaining insight into systemic challenges and advocating for patient-centered care. In 2025, she returned to her passion for the uninsured—founding MEM Health Promotion Services as a virtual clinic specializing in chronic disease management.
Today, through secure and user-friendly telehealth platforms, she and her team provide personalized care plans, health coaching, and regular follow-up for adults living with conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, weight management, Arthritis and more. Her approach is guided by evidence-based practice, health education, and a genuine commitment to empowering patients to take control of their health—right from the comfort of home.
